Police are investigating a bizarre shooting situation on Monday evening.
Authorities received reports of shots fired near in the 1000 block of Underwood Place, near Stoddard Place, around 8 p.m.
Responders on scene say a victim and another man were walking down Underwood Place towards Glenway Avenue, upon the arrival of police.
The victim was shot in the head. Police say he was alert and talking, and was taken to UC Medical Center for treatment.
The other man with him took off.
No word yet on any suspects at this time. Authorities say the investigation is ongoing.
