SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

As the Boston Red Sox gear up for spring training, NESN's Red Sox broadcast team is embarking on a tour of New England that will stop in Springfield later this month.

Tuesday, NESN announced that broadcasters Jerry Remy, Don Orsillo and Jenny Dell will take part in a fan appreciation event at Springfield's MassMutual Center on Wednesday, Feb. 13. The event will take place in the MassMutual Center's lobby from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The NESN broadcast team will also be making stops in Burlington, VT, Hartford, CT, Portland, ME, and Providence, RI, on their tour of the region.

The Red Sox official spring training schedule begins Feb. 23 with a game against the Tampa Bay Rays.
