Hi Everyone! Thanks for stopping by my page. You can catch me on WSFA 12 News each weekday forecasting for the Noon and 4:00 p.m. weathercasts.
I went to The Pennsylvania State University and graduated with a degree in meteorology. I am a proud Nittany Lion and member of Kappa Kappa Gamma fraternity for women. I was also very involved with clubs and activities offered by the meteorology department at Penn State. They included Campus Weather Service, PSN and Weather World.
After graduation, I packed up my car and drove half way across the country to work as a weekend meteorologist and weekday reporter for KMID in Midland Texas. While there, I covered one of the worst droughts in history. This included devastating wildfires that stood true to the saying, "spread like wildfire."
While in Texas, I was asked to be morning meteorologist for KTAB news in Abilene. There, I experienced even more severe weather, spending many late nights and early mornings informing the people of the "Big Country".
I am from Media, Pennsylvania a suburb of Philadelphia, "The City of Brotherly Love" where I was raised by my parents with my younger sister and brother.
Every summer, we spent time in Ocean City, New Jersey. I am a beach bum and I plan on taking full advantage of the BEAUTIFUL Alabama beaches now that I'm in Alabama!
