Springfield Public Schools will be closed Friday due to expected storm

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

We have updates due to the expected severe weather for Friday.

Springfield Public Schools will be canceled tomorrow.

City Hall will close at noon.

Shelters are being prepared to open in case of power outages.

We will have more updates in our 4 p.m. newscast.
