SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -
Springfield police detectives are investigating what they call a murder-suicide that happened early Friday morning on Wellington Street.
According to our media partner Masslive and The Republican, police are reporting that Anthony Brown fatally shot Julie Treadwell before turning the gun on himself.
Police say another person was shot but they are not releasing the identity.
That person was taken to Baystate Medical Center with what police are calling serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
