PD: Man shoots at suspects ransacking his home

PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Authorities in Phoenix are investigating a break-in on West Weldon Avenue that led to a shooting late Friday morning.

Police said the owner came home to find a door open and three young men ransacking his house.

Police said he shot at the suspects and one of them is in extremely critical condition at the hospital.

The other two suspects got away.

Nearby Estrella Middle School and Trevor G. Browne High School were on lockdown after the incident.
