CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

A Cincinnati-area arts organization kicked off its 2013 community campaign on Friday.

ArtsWave, the area's largest funder of the arts, celebrated a new year of fundraising for local music, theatre, dance, museums and more.

The event was held at Fountain Square, with dance performances, free ice skating and even an appearance from Cincinnati Reds' mascot Mr. Redlegs.

ArtsWave is the largest united arts fund in the country, supporting over 100 local arts organizations.

Organizers say over $11.2 million was raised last year to support local programs.
