TUSCOLA COUNTY, MI (WNEM) -
State police need your help as they piece together a fatal head-on crash.
It happened Saturday evening at about 7:30 on Dickerson Road near McGregory Road in Tuscola County's Elmwood Township.
The accident involved a Chevrolet pickup driven by a 42-year-old man from Unionville and a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a 22-year-old woman from Cass City.
Troopers say it appears one vehicle may have lost control, crossed the center line and collided with the other. The woman, we're told, was not wearing her seat belt and later died at the hospital. The man had to be extracted from his pickup and was treated at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw for an injury to his leg.
MSP is asking anyone who may have come upon the crash prior to the arrival of emergency workers to call the Caro post at 989-673-2156.
