Young widow encounters love once again in new romance novel
East Northport, N.Y. (PRWEB) February 11, 2013
In her new romance novel “Aubrey’s Choice” (published by iUniverse), author J. C. Neway introduces readers to Aubrey, an extremely strong – and extremely lucky – young woman who finds love, loses it and then unexpectedly finds love again.
When Aubrey marries Ian, she knows that he is terminally ill, and when cancer ends his life she is widow at just 25. Lost in grief, Aubrey decides to leave her small town and the looks of pity everyone is giving her. While traveling, she meets up with Jack, a childhood friend to both Ian and herself, and feelings she thought were lost when she buried her husband are stirred up once again.
As readers follow Aubrey’s ups and downs, Neway hopes the story inspires them to consider the power that love can have in their lives. “Love is a wonderful thing even if it scares you,” she says. “Opening yourself up to it is like jumping into the shark tank. For it to happen twice in anyone’s life is pure luck, and we can all use a little luck.”
A story of loss and love, “Aubrey’s Choice” is a book which Neway believes readers will connect deeply with. “Life can go on after such a loss if you want it to,” she says. “You don’t have to move on, but sometimes it just sneaks up on you and love finds you again.”
A voracious reader of all kinds of books, Neway hopes people enjoy reading her book as much as she enjoyed writing it. “The biggest compliment I could get is if someone recommends it to a friend.”
