HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Huntsville Police are looking for a thief who robbed a Family Dollar store.

The robber hit the store on Pulaski Pike around 9:00 Wednesday night. Police said the robber pulled out a knife and demanded cash.

The robber made off with cash and a carton of cigarettes.

Police collected evidence from the scene and talked to witnesses to get a description of the thief. Officials said the thief was wearing a wig and red hoodie.

Officers also called in a K-9 unit to help in the search.

Investigators dusted the scene for fingerprints and collected evidence. No suspects have been named.
