SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -
The crippled Carnival cruise ship Triumph is expected to be towed into port in Mobile,AL, sometime late Thursday afternoon.
When it finally arrives, it will end the nightmare for more than 3,000 passengers who endured the filthy, smelly conditions on the ship after a fire knocked out power and left them stranded in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico for five days.
The passengers aboard the Carnival Triumph are having to endure the harsh sea and wind conditions. In addition, the ship has sewage sloshing around in hallways, rooms are flooded, and passengers have had little food.
