BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
A man wanted for an execution-style murder has been arrested.
U.S. Marshals arrested Darryl "Hoop" Jones, 41, Thursday morning in Baton Rouge.
Jones had been wanted in connection with the January murder of Gerald "Butta" Wilkins.
"Wilkins was found shot to death on the side of the road in what appeared to be an execution style slaying" said Ascension Sheriff Jeff Wiley.
Wilkins was found on LV Road in Sorrento.
Two other men, Cecil "Unc" Beals and Calvin "Dirt" Williams, are already in jail for Wilkins' murder.
