FRANKLIN, OH (FOX19) -
Officials announced a current investigation being conducted on a local school district.
The Warren County Prosecutor's Office revealed several complaints have been reported over officials with the Franklin City Schools allegedly using school resources to 'engage in impermissible political activities'. The announcement was made in a release sent by the office on Thursday.
While the office did not release specifics, authorities say an investigation is now underway.
Franklin Schools Superintendent Arnie Elam said he also hasn't been told the details, but believes its over a letter sent home to parents on Tuesday.
In the original letter, Elam explains Governor Kasich's recent State Funding Formula, describing it as somewhat midleading and asking for a vote against the re-election of Kasich.
