DENHAM SPRINGS, LA (WAFB) -
A Walker man has been arrested on theft charges for the second time in under six months.
Deputies were called to C&M Outdoor Power Equipment on Florida Blvd. Thursday morning for a theft in progress.
Investigators say Robert Hartman, 27, walked off without paying for items over worth more than $500.
Hartman was later taken into custody by a K-9 officer. After he is treated at a local hospital, he will be booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center.
He has been charged with felony theft and resisting arrest. He also had several outstanding warrants.
Hartman was arrested in September 2012 for allegedly burglarizing a garage in Walker.
