ASCENSION PARISH, LA (WAFB) -

Five people are wanted in Ascension Parish for skipping their court dates.

Major Kevin Hanna says they ignored their court dates after they were arrested on felony and misdemeanor charges.

Castillo Castellanos 30 Sexual battery
Jesse Blakeman 20 Simple burglary
Cody Greer 23 Possession of schedule II CDS
Possession of marijuana
Quita Franklin 35 Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle
Possession of stolen firearms

People arrested on criminal charges are entitled to a bond.  After bonding out of jail, the arrested is given a court date.
