Five people are wanted in Ascension Parish for skipping their court dates.

Major Kevin Hanna says they ignored their court dates after they were arrested on felony and misdemeanor charges.

People arrested on criminal charges are entitled to a bond.  After bonding out of jail, the arrested is given a court date.
