SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

Police are investigating an armed robbery.

Capt. Cheryl Claprood told CBS 3 that two Hispanic males robbed the Spring Food Mart in Indian Orchard shortly before 8:20 p.m. on Saturday.

Claprood said both men were wearing masks. One wore a white hockey mask, while the other was dressed in all black with a red hat and showed a gun.

The duo took cash and fled on foot down Montgomery Street.

The detective bureau continues to investigate the incident.
