The celebration for the Albany Panthers is officially over.
The two time league champion Panthers have opened training camp with a roster that is looking to win the franchise's third consecutive championship.
The team is undergoing a conditioning workout Monday and will hold their first official practice on Tuesday.
General manager Will Carter says all training camp practices will be open to the public.
The Panthers return much of last year's team that won the Professional Indoor Football League title with the exception of receiver Clenton Rafe and defensive end Tito Hannah.
The returning Panthers are going to have to earn their jobs this camp with the team bringing in several talented players like quarterback James Steadman and defensive back Stoney Woodson.
"I didn't want my veteran guys to get complacent. I didn't want them to feel comfortable in the positions they were in. I want them to come in and work hard. know that their job is in jeopardy just as the new guys," said head coach Lucious Davis.
The Panthers will hold their annual preseason scrimmage at 6:00 p.m. on March 1st.
The season opener is March 9th at Louisiana and the home opener is March 16th against Columbus.
