ERLANGER, KY (FOX19) -
Police have released a sketch of a suspect who was involved in a robbery at the Erlanger Frisch's restaurant on Tuesday morning.
Erlanger police say the manager answered the delivery bell at the back door and the suspect showed a gun, forcing his way in. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and some personal items from the manager and one other employee, including the manager's cell phone.
The victims did not see the suspect leave, so the Erlanger K-9 and Special Response Team were called to search the restaurant and surrounding areas. The manager's cell phone 'pinged' nearby, but it appears it was discarded by the suspect. SRT and K-9 were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a black male, possibly Somalian, heavy set with a round face and wearing a red shirt, black tied, dark jacket and white scarf.
Anyone with information should call Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040 or Erlanger Police at 859-727-2424.
