BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Authorities are looking for a car that drove off after several Louisiana government vehicles were broken into on Valentine's Day.

The East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office said the car burglaries happened at the Alcohol and Tobacco Control complex in the 8500 block of Archives Avenue in Baton Rouge.

Deputies said four of the vehicles had bullet holes in them. Several items were missing from one unit, in particular, a state-issued bulletproof vest.

Investigators provided photographs of a dark-colored, newer model sedan they identified as the suspect's car. The image on the right is the best one released to the media.

The vehicles that were broken into were in a parking garage.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 344-7867.
