Local children who are victims of abuse will soon have another spot where they can feel free and safe.
A renovated game room will soon open its doors.
The Whaley's Children Center will officially open their Project Joy Family Game Room at 5 p.m. Thursday.
The room includes a library, a game center, a snack bar and a computer station.
The space was previously updated in the 1990's.
Whaley's Children Center is located at 1201 N. Grand Traverse St. in Flint.
