RIPLEY, OH (FOX19) -
Two people are behind bars after an undercover drug investigation in Brown County.
Samual Stacy Jr., 32, and Candus Richmond, 20, both of Ripley, were arrested for trafficking heroin on Thursday, following an undercover investigation with the Brown County Sheriff's Office.
Stacy was charged with five felony counts of trafficking heroin, and Richmond also faces two felony counts of trafficking heroin.
Authorities say Stacy's vehicle, a 1996 Pontiac, was also seized in the arrest because it was reportedly used to transport the
drugs.
Both were
taken to the Brown County Adult Detention Center where they remain
in custody until a bond hearing is scheduled.
