SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -
Springfield police are investigating after a body was discovered washed ashore along the banks of the Connecticut River on Friday.
The body was found near the South End Bridge just after 2:30 p.m. Police confirm it was a middle aged male, but they are not releasing an identity or any other information at this time.
