PRATTVILLE, AL (WSFA) -

Prattville Police say they've arrested a Millbrook man for impersonating a police officer at a local retail store.

But, this suspect is not believed to be the man making traffic stops in a white Crown Victoria.

Police have arrested 42-year-old Douglas Sterling Newton of Millbroook for impersonating a police officer at the Prattville Target location.

Authorities are continuing their investigation, however, they do not believe Newton is the same man who is pulling people over while driving a white Crown Victoria.

Newton has been transported to the Elmore County Jail.
