ATLANTA, March 1, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The U.S. Small Business Administration announced today the opening of two Disaster Loan Outreach Centers (DLOCs) in Nicholas and Webster counties in West Virginia. The centers will provide one-on-one assistance to homeowners, renters and businesses of all sizes seeking disaster assistance for losses caused by Hurricane Sandy from Oct. 29 through Nov. 10, 2012.

Opening: Tuesday, March 5 at 7:30 a.m.

"Survivors who receive a SBA disaster loan application should submit it as soon as possible to receive consideration for a loan to help with their recovery," said Frank Skaggs, director of SBA Field Operations Center East. "SBA's Customer Service Representatives are on hand at the centers to provide one-on-one assistance in completing their application."
Applicants may also apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via SBA's secure website at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela.
Additional details on the locations of recovery centers and the loan application process can be obtained by calling SBA's Customer Service Center at 800-659-2955 (800-877-8339 for the deaf and hard-of-hearing) or by sending an email to disastercustomerservice@sba.gov. Loan applications can be downloaded from www.sba.gov.
The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is April 26, 2013. The deadline to return economic injury applications is November 25, 2013.
