PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Several robbery suspects fleeing from police were injured early Sunday after the driver of a vehicle they stole slammed into a wall, Phoenix police said.

Several hours earlier, police said two of those suspects confronted a 19-year-old man in the area of N. 83rd Avenue and W. Glove Avenue, pulled out a gun and stole the teen's car.

At about 4:30 a.m., officers said they spotted the stolen vehicle with four people inside in the area of North 67th Avenue and W. Indian School Road.  Officers tried to initiate a traffic stop but the vehicle fled.

A few blocks later, the driver of the vehicle lost control and crashed into a wall.

The four occupants of the vehicle, three of them juveniles, were detained by officers.

The victim identified the two suspects. The adult suspect will be booked into jail for armed robbery, police said.

The juvenile suspect suffered injuries and was taken to a local hospital. He will be detained at the Juvenile Correction Center once he's released.

One of the juvenile "persons of interest" was also injured and taken to the hospital.

Police said the investigation is continuing.
