The nationally ranked Darton State golf team has won tournaments all across the nation. Now they're looking to showcase their talents locally.
The Cavaliers are hosting the first ever Doublegate Collegiate at Doublegate Country Club.
After one round of play, the Cavs sit in second place at 292, six shots back of leader Wallace State.
It was Taylor Martin scoring low for the Cavs, with a one-under 71.
Darton's Nick Green is fresh off an individual victory at the Faulkner Invitational. He shot a one-over 73.
The scheduled tee off for Round 2 is 8:30 a.m. at Doublegate.
