Akron, OH (WOIO) - It didn't take the Akron Zips long to bounce back. Just three days after having their 19-game win streak snapped up in Buffalo, they returned to their home court on Tuesday, and to their winning ways, routing the Miami Redhawks, 72-58.
Zeke Marshall led the way for the Zips with 14 points and 8 rebounds, while Alex Abreu threw down 12 points along with 7 assists, as the Zips improved to 24-5, 14-1 in the MAC, officially wrapping up the regular season conference title in the process.
