ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Sherwood Christian soccer player T.J. Clay is one of the best goal scorers in the GISA.

He is taking his scoring ability to Point University.

T.J. Clay signed a scholarship to play soccer for Point University next year.

Clay is a two time all-state player for the Eagles soccer team.

He also led the GISA in all classifications last year in goals scored.

T.J. is also a talented football player and basketball player for the Sherwood Christian program.

He says soccer is his favorite sport and he is ready to continue playing in college.

"I have been playing it longer than any other sport. That is probably the main reason.  I guess the team bonding. It is just exhilarating. I can't really explain it."

T.J. Clay has already scored 6 goals in his first two games this season for Sherwood Christian.
