TEMPE, AZ (CBS5) -
A Tempe man was booked into jail on suspicion of sending an explicit photo to a 16-year-old babysitter who had posted an ad on Craigslist, police said.
Tempe police detectives arrested Joshua Vehmeier, 22, at his home in Mesa on Wednesday.
Police said Vehmeier had exchanged emails with the babysitter on Feb. 22.
During their investigation, police detectives learned that Vehmeier knew the victim was a minor when he sent the explicit photograph.
A search warrant was served on Vehmeier's home. Police said his computer revealed several images of child pornography.
Vehmeier was booked into the Fourth Avenue Jail on charges of sexual exploitation and furnishing harmful items to a minor.
Police detectives said they are continuing to work on this investigation.
Anyone with information can contact the Tempe Police Department at 480-350-8311.
