A Hueytown man was sentenced to more than two years in prison for defrauding Children's of Alabama.
Federal prosecutors say that David Nichols was an on-site printer service technician at Children's. They say he used the hospital's inventory system to order new printer cartridges the he resold to another company. He stole nearly $427,000 and will pay nearly $527,000 in restitution.
