Man arrested after Green Twp. bank robbery

GREEN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

One man has been arrested after an armed bank robbery in Green Township.

Police responded to reports of a robbery at the Guardian Savings Bank on Colerain Avenue around 9:15 a.m. Saturday morning.

Authorities say that two men armed with handguns entered the bank and demanded money from the teller. The suspects fled the bank on foot with an unknown amount of money.

An investigation led detectives to the 3000 block of Mack Road in Fairfield, Ohio. Stevie Stevenson, 30, was arrested at the address.

Stevenson was transported to the Hamilton County Justice Center and has been charged with aggravated robbery and kidnapping.

The second suspect in the robbery remains at large.
