HAMMOND, LA (WAFB) -
A Hammond woman has been arrested for allegedly shooting her husband four times during a fight.
According to reports, deputies received a 911 call around 2 a.m. Saturday morning, with a male voice on the phone saying his address.
As deputies responded to the call, they met a car leaving the address with its headlights off.
Deputies say the driver, Alesha Douglas, 42, told them her husband was inside the home and armed.
After forcing their way into the home, deputies found Brian Douglas, 43, with four gunshot wounds.
Alesha Douglas has been charged with attempted second degree murder.
Brian Douglas' wounds are not life-threatening. He is reported to be in stable condition.
