COVINGTON, KENTUCKY (FOX19) -
A Covington Police Officer suffered minor injuries after his
cruiser was struck by an intoxicated driver.
Police say Sgt. Kevin Brady was stopped at a red light at 12th
Street and Madison Road around 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning when the incident occurred.
Authorities say that Justin Holt struck Brady's cruiser and
fled the scene.
The officer chased Holt's vehicle to 13th Street and Scott
Boulevard where Holt hit two other vehicles. Holt then took off on foot.
Sgt. Brady chased Holt and quickly captured him.
Brady was treated with minor injuries.
Holt is being treated for minor injuries at the hospital. He
will later be taken to the Kenton County Detention Center on several charges.
