PORT ALLEN, LA (WAFB) -

There is heavy traffic on I-10 West in Baton Rouge due to lane closures because of a vehicle fire.

The right and center lanes were blocked on I-10 West at the Port Allen exit on the Horace Wilkinson Bridge (New Bridge) for nearly an hour.

All lanes were reopened around 6:45 a.m. However, there were still backups from when the closures were in place.

There was no injury information released.
