MONTGOMERY, AL -
The votes have been cast, and the team taking the title of
first place in the Scale Back Alabama Most Creative Team Name Contest is "Baby
Got Back No Mo!".
A panel of statewide media judges selected ten names from
nearly 7,000 statewide. Those ten were then placed on the Scale Back Alabama
website to be voted on by the public March 8-18.
Taking second place honors was
"We are never, ever, ever, getting fat together!".
Prizes include $100 each for
members of the first-place team and $50 each for the second-place team members.
Scale Back Alabama is a free statewide weight-loss contest
designed to help Alabamians get healthier by losing weight and exercising more.
The Most Creative Team Name Contest is in its third year and has been a popular
addition to the program.
Its purpose is to increase camaraderie among team
members and provide a way they can have fun while encouraging each other to
achieve healthier lifestyle goals. The ten finalists in this year's contest
included:

- Fattitude Adjustment
- In It To Thin It
- MADD (Men Against Dunkin' Donuts)
- No Behinds Left Behind
- Slenderellas
- We are never, ever, ever getting fat together!
