CARROLLTON, KY (FOX19) -
Carrollton Police are investigating an
attempted bank robbery on Friday.
Authorities say man walked into the First National Bank, located on Highland Avenue in Carrollton, and gave the teller a note requesting she give him
money.
"The teller asked the male a question, and he then took the
note and walked out of the bank," Carrollton Police Chief Michael Willhoite
said.
It happened around 4:50 p.m.
The suspect is described as a white male wearing a gray hooded
sweatshirt, which appeared to be a Louisville Cardinals football shirt. He was
also wearing glasses, a gray jacket and a baseball cap with the #18 on it.
