BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -
A major deal to bring IBM to Baton Rouge will be announced next week.
Sources tell 9News the announcement will be made March 27th at the Manship Theatre.
The deal will bring 600 to 700 high tech jobs to the downtown area. They will eventually ramp up to as many as 1,100.
A new building will be constructed on the site of the old newspaper in downtown.
