The bank has secured a 42,000-square-foot office space located at Papago Spectrum at 1225 W. Washington St.

Job openings include application processors, underwriters, and other operations support and management positions.

Union Bank Executive Vice President Jim Francis made the announcement Thursday afternoon with Gov. Jan Brewer, Tempe Mayor Mark Mitchell, the Arizona Commerce Authority and the Greater Phoenix Economic Council.
