HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) -

Every fire unit in the City of Hamilton responded to an early morning house fire.

Crews responded to a residential structure fire in the 800 block of Vine Street around 2:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

Units arriving on the scene reported seeing flames coming from the rear of a two-story wood house. Upon entering the house, crews discovered that the back third of the second floor had burned away.

Crews were on the scene for nearly three hours.

No one was home at the time of the fire.

Damages have been estimated at $75 thousand.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
