With the promise of snow in the forecast, Cincinnati Metro is preparing riders for the worst.

Detours and delays are possible throughout the Metro service area. Riders dependant on Metro can get up-to-date information through the following outlets.

Metro's website will be providing updated detour information and bus schedules. Customers can also follow Metro snow information on their Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Metro's Detour Hotline will provide a recorded message, updated continuously from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. on severe winter weather days to give the most current bus detour information. The Metro Detour hotline can be reached at 513-632-7538.

Metro's call center is open weekdays 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. for complete bus-riding information and can be reached at 513-621-4455.

Metro reminds riders that buses cannot stop safely on snowy or icy hills. Customers should board at the top or bottom of hills.
