Pair arrested after robbery in Clifton, 3 other robberies under investigation

CLIFTON, OH (FOX19) -

Two people have been arrested following a robbery in Clifton, and police are investigating three more crimes.

Police say Andrew Westbrook and Deasia Adams, both 18, and at least two other suspects punched the victim, implied they had a gun and took several items Monday night in the 3400 block of Telford Avenue.

Westbrook and Adams had their bonds set at $100,000 each.

Police say the driver of the getaway car took off before the suspects could get in, but was later pulled over by police.

A suspect on a bicycle grabbed a wallet and cell phone from a man at West Clifton and W. McMillan street around 12:40 p.m. on Monday, March 25. The suspect was described only as a male wearing a grey jacket and brown boots, riding a bicycle.  The suspect was last seen southbound on West Clifton.

A female victim was punched and her cell phone taken around 4:10 p.m. on Monday, March 25. in the 100 block of Lyon Street.  The suspects are described as:

  • Black female, 14-16 years old, 5'09" tall, 150 pounds, wearing a bright blue hooded sweatshirt and tan pants
  • Black female, 14-16 years old, 5'06" tall, 140 pounds, wearing tan pants 
  • Black female, 14-16 years old, 5'05" tall, 150 pounds, wearing tan pants

A female victim was punched, and property taken in the 2300 block of Flora Street around 9:05 p.m. on Monday, March 25.  The suspects are described as:

  • Black male, 16-19 years old, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans
  • Black male, 16-19 years old, wearing a grey and white striped hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans
