GOODYEAR, AZ (CBS5) -

Three suspects, one female and two males, who are accused of stealing copper from the 18000 block of West Desert Trumpet Road in Goodyear were arrested Monday night by Goodyear police officers.

Goodyear police were able to get a description of the vehicle the three suspects were in and found them driving down Estrella Parkway on Monday evening.

When officers stopped the vehicle, all three suspects ran from the vehicle. A helicopter along with K-9 units were called in to help locate the suspects.

Officers were able to apprehend all three suspects shortly after they fled the vehicle.

Goodyear police believe the three suspects may be tied to other related burglaries.
