GLENDALE, OH (FOX19) -

One day after Opening Day, a Cincinnati Reds outfielder spent his day off with fans.

Chris Heisey signed autographs on Tuesday at Heirloom Framing Company, located in Glendale, to raise money for a good cause.

At least 10% of the admission fee the event went towards the Joe Nuxhall Miracle League Fields in Fairfield.

During Monday's Opening Day game against the L.A. Angels, Reds outfielder Ryan Ludwick hurt his shoulder while sliding headfirst into 3rd base.

He is now planning to have shoulder surgery, and Heisey took his place.
