19 Action News has learned of a second arrest in connection with a series of violent attacks on  women in the same part of the east side of Cleveland.

Tuesday night, Reporter Ed Gallek broke the news that police arrested a man for questioning in the murder of Jazmine Trotter.

Cleveland Police just sent the mug shot of Jerome Ogletree. He was brought in for questioning with the case, and later arrested. No word on what charges, if any, he will face.

Now, Cleveland's Police Chief says a second suspect has been arrested for other cases, and he's being questioned about the recent attacks.

The chief did not get into details, but he said the second suspect had been wanted for other assaults in the area, and investigators are looking into whether he is to blame for any of the recent attacks.

The Medical Examiner has said Trotter and Christine Malone were both killed in recent days from blunt force trauma and strangulation.

Trotter was found murdered on March 26. The missing woman's body was found underneath the back porch of an abandoned home on East 93rd Street.

Malone, a mother of eight, was found on the 9000 block of Bessemer Avenue last Thursday afternoon.

Per the request of the Cleveland Division of Police, the FBI is now involved.
