MEDINA, OH (WOIO) -
An elderly Medina man has been charged with one count of rape.
Robert Law, 79, was taken into custody Thursday at his home on Century Oak Circle.
A detective tells 19 Action News Law did know the victim, a girl under the age of 12. Officials are still investigating how long the abuse went on.
Detectives believe there could be other victims, they are urging people to call the Sheriff's Office at 330-725-9116.
This was a joint investigation conducted by the Medina County Sheriff's Office and the Akron Office of the FBI.
