HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

A Valley boy battling an inoperable brain tumor received a big surprise for his birthday Saturday.

Jacob Perez, 10, celebrated his special day in style. The manager at the Olive Garden restaurant on University Drive in Huntsville heard about Jacob's story and wanted to help make his birthday one he will never forget.

Manager, Ralph Douglas treated Jacob's entire family to a limo ride to the restaurant and decorated inside of the building for his party.

Jacob's parents said they are glad to spend what time they have left with him.

"Jacob is a very special child, not only is he autistic, but he was diagnosed three years ago at the age of seven with a brain tumor we've been battling for three years, he's never been in remission, and we've gotten some bad news recently, the tumor after radiation had grown seven centimeters so this birthday was very special to us," said Angela Perez, his mother.
