What started as a theft of property call in Montgomery County turned into a high-speed, county-crossing chase Thursday afternoon.
Units with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Dept. responded to a call near Snowdoun Chambers Road on a report that an AR-15 rifle had been stolen.
As units responded, three suspects left at a high rate of speed and traveled down Hwy. 331 South.
The chase continued into Crenshaw County and down County Road 66, also known as Braddleton Road, where authorities say the vehicle finally stopped.
The suspects bailed out and ran, though authorities almost immediately took two of the suspects into custody. A third was chased by deputies and K9 units and was successfully apprehended.
Inside the vehicle, investigators found a 2-year-old child. The child was said to be "okay".
