MASON, OH (FOX19) -

To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of an episode of 'The Brady Bunch' that was filmed at Kings Island, stars from the show returned to the park on Sunday.

Barry Williams (Greg Brady), Christopher Knight (Peter Brady) and Susan Olsen (Cindy Brad) were at the park to entertain park guests during four shows of singing, dancing and Brady Bunch anecdotes.  Williams, Knight and Olsen made themselves available to meet fans, sign autographs and pose for photographs after each show.

The Brady Bunch filmed one of its most popular episodes at Kings Island. The episode, called "The Cincinnati Kids," was filmed at Kings Island August 20-24, 1973, the second year the park was open.

In the episode, which first aired November 23, 1973, Mike Brady, played by Robert Reed, takes the family with him as he presents his architectural plans for a new addition to Kings Island.  The plans become inadvertently misplaced while the family is in the park and a variety of comic situations evolve while recovering the drawings.

On Sunday, Barry Williams proved that he hasn't lost a step. Williams charmed an audience as he sang and danced with some eager volunteers. One of those volunteers was Hannah Van Dyke.

"I'm an honorary Brady because I got up and danced," explained Van Dyke.

The Brady trio kept the audience entertained with stories about their lives after the Brady Bunch. Even though "The Cincinnati Kids" aired back in 1973, Williams remembers it like it was yesterday.

"It feels great to be back. It doesn't feel like it was that far away," said Williams. "The memories are still fresh."

The Brady Bunch cast got to ride, once again, on the red Racer roller coaster. Aside from enjoying the rides, the cast had a chance to meet and greet many adoring fans who remember the Brady's from their youth.

"It brings back a lot of old memories growing up and coming up here 40 years so," explains Ben Dixon of Florence, Kentucky. "It brings you back to being a kid again."

The Brady Bunch appearance was so successful, Kings Island officials say they are considering having the cast back for a 45th reunion in 2018.
