MONTGOMERY, AL (WSFA) -

Montgomery Police are investigating the causes surrounding the city's fifth traffic fatality of the year.

Authorities say a 59-year-old Louisiana man died today of injuries he received in an April 15 crash.

Police were called to North Eastdale Mall at the East Boulevard following a two vehicle crash with injury around 7:30 a.m. Monday, April 15.

A 2002 Ford Expedition SUV crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a 2012 Dodge 2500 pick-up truck. The driver of the SUV was injured - his injuries proved fatal.

Accident investigators are working at this time to determine the cause of the crash. The victim's name is being withheld pending family notification.
