CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Authorities say a man was shot and killed Thursday evening in the West End.

It happened around 10 p.m. near the Gateway Plaza building, located at 416 West 9th Street just west of City Hall.

Responding officers located the gunshot victim in the rear of the address.  The victim was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.  The victim has been identified as Tazmon Frazier, 20.

The suspect / shooter was described by witnesses as a black male (early 20s), slim build, standing approximately 5'08" tall.  He was wearing a doo-rag, red shirt and dark colored pants armed with a handgun.  The suspect fled the scene on foot and was last seen toward Court Street.  Two additional suspects were with the shooter.  The additional suspects were described only as heavy set black males.
